I just want to let you know that I lost my housemate of 12 years last night. My cat Trouble died during the night. A very dear friend gave him to me.

He seemed fine the last few days, but last night he barely made it up the stairs and later in the evening it seemed like he lost control of his movements. I was going to take him to the vet this morning, but it was too late. I'm not sure what happened to him. He may have gotten into something he shouldn't, but I'll probably never know.

I live in town, so I took him to the vet anyway for his final disposition.

I'll miss him reminding me about his breakfast every morning.
