Redskin's rule (from WWII RAF Bomber Command)
If something can be fitted wrong somewhere somehow someone will do so.
Prime example of this, a Typhoon with the ailerons swapped left for right and which flew that way until they were replaced correctly during a normal refit. It required longer than normal control wires and my dad had to make them up until the new parts were fitted.
