"Doctoring up" a Sporran
So I've got an inexpensive sporran from SWK that I have been thinking about tinkering with. I bought some fake rabbit fur from Hobby Lobby, and i was thinking about cutting it to fit the main part of the sporran (not including the flap) to make it a little more distinguished. I very much want to get a brown leather embossed sporran (perhaps with some sort of Celtic dragon?), but will have to wait until the funds are permitting such activity. Until then, I wanted to hear from the rabble on what you guys think about this idea.
Has anyone ever dressed up a plain sporran in this way? I also thought about putting some kind of brooch over the snap button.
Waddya think?
