The One Show, a topical show on BBC 1 TV in the UK was a real treat this evening - 25th Jan - Burns Night, when one of the presenters Hardeep Singh Kohli, a Sikh, with turban, but born in Glasgow, wore a plain blue/black kilt throughout the show. The Article about Robert Burns, toward the latter quarter of the show, had two other male presenters, Adrian Chiles and Phil Tufnel, a cricketer, don kilts. The latter did the usual trick of putting it on backwards, but corrected this. The main presenter, Adrian Chiles, stated that it was the most comfortable garment he had ever worn (something we all know!) but he hoped he could keep his legs together in front of the cameras.
