That would certainly be a lot to try and do in a day Phil! 
I have been from Oban to Craignure but then the coach took us in the Iona direction so have not been to Tobermory. In those days (1970s) the driver said that nobody locked their doors there, I imagine that that is no longer the case!
Given some half decent summer weather I would love to take my Goldwing on an island hop and do some exploring, naturally changing into a kilt when I am not riding!
