I was listening to John Cougar the other day playing Check It Out and I know the instrument in the background is/was an accordian, but I couldn't help to wonder what it would sound like with the pipes...I think it would actually be better, but that's just me.

Then I heard that Dropkick Murphy's did a rendition of the song? Is this true? or is there a rock pipe band that does?

If not, I'm gonna start working on it.
