Wondering how many other rabble are the lone kiltie in their area. No buddies at kilt night. No other kilters to make wearing the kilt seem more common in their town.

I live at the top center of Arizona in a town of 6,800. Its a 135 mile drive to the nearest city - either Flagstaff, AZ or St. George, UT. Fortunately, Flagstaff is a bastion of kilt wearing, but its still over two hours away over rez roads. Not convenient for a run down and back after work for evening kilt friendly events.

I knew of one other local guy who bought a Buzz Kidder kilt at the 2007 Highland Games in Mesa but never wore it in public back home. He's since moved out of town. I've met one other local guy who said his mother used to sew kilts in Flagstaff before she got too old and that he had a couple. But he never wears his.

And of course, for me, this board makes remote kilting much much easier in so many ways.

So, anyone else an outpost of remote kilting?
