    wedding toasts

Again, I sense that this question may be a little OT and ask forgiveness...

I am the father of the bride at an upcoming wedding. I will be wearing a kilt for the first time (although it has inspired me to acquire two other high quality kilts, an Argyll jacket, and accouterments).

But at some point I am going to be asked to make comment...offer a paternal benediction if you will. I would like conclude with something pithy of Scots Gaelic origin --better a bit anglicized--and perhaps end with a Gaelic blessing (in Gaelic).

Anyone have any suggestions and...hopefully...a phonetic pronunciation to go with it?

    Thanks
