High Vis Kilt
I've made a couple of kilts - the first was a camouflage one for a Hash House Harriers (H3) Highland Games in Northern Cyprus and the second was for an H3 Burn's Supper in England
Its made with Yellow Hi Vis material, the sporran is an old army one covered in orange hi-vis sticky back plastic.
H3 is a drinking club that does a bit of running in order to work up a thirst, hence the Hi Vis kilt.
I down loaded instructions from the interweb and used my more conventional kilts as templates. It was reasonably easy but I can imagine that a Tartan kilt would be a 'mare trying to get the stripes right.
Unfortunately there were no pictures showing the kilt to its best effect but this 'un is not bad:

This 'un a bit small but...:

I attached pictures but they have not appeared. The pictures can be vied at: http://www.r2d2h3.com/ Enter the website and press to view the Burns 2008 photos. It won't be hard to identify which are of a short fat middle aged fellah in a Hi Vis kilt. You will also see Mrs Courtmount in her H3 Highland finery, but I'm not saying which one she is!

Reason: Fixed the link
The 'Eathen in his idleness bows down to wood and stone,
'E don't obey no orders unless they is his own,
He keeps his side arms awful,
And he leaves them all about,
Until up comes the Regiment and kicks the 'Eathen out.
