Hello Rabble,

As Beth and I expand our business, we often chuckle at how our name compares with our products. True, we are one of only 12 firms in North America that still make traditional Canvas and oilskin apparel, and one of 3 that make winter anoraks at all. We put just as much time and energy into making our wool, hand wear, and foot wear.

Legally our business is called Vulpine Adaptive, LLC. We do 90% of our business by selling 16 Empire Canvas Works products- named after the Empire Swamp in the back yard of the proprietor we purchased the 3 original clothing items from. At the rate we're going, I'll probably spend more time sewing wool kilt jackets and cranking out boots than anything this summer.

So, we're looking a few seasons down the road towards incorporation and a new name. We're open to suggestions for a new name. If it seems to stick, we'll make it worth your typing for sure.

Cheers,

Kevin.

PS- Along with Matt's new coat(s), there might be some new boots this month. Stay tuned.
