...for PAINTBALL!

It's utilitarian in nature, so please be kind...lol.

I know that common sporrans are around 1.5" deep but because this is for paintball, I made it 4" deep so I could cram in a lot of stuff, plus a small towel (for the goggles). To keep the "gusset" for such a deep sporran, I added elastic bands through the sides of it to help collapse it when empty.

As you can also see, there's a pocket for my cell phone, lighter and a pen (Sharpie marker) on the back plate. The hangers are brass gromets that I plan on getting quick release clips for. I will make 2 strap hangers to go over my 2" web belt and most likely, add a chunk of velcro on the back to join the sporran to the apron of my AmeriKilt. That way it won't bounce around while running through the forest...lol. I added a sheath for a small Sgian on the back plate (an idea I copied from a muzzleloader "possibles bag" I made) and the cover joins to the body by way of a 3/4" long "bead" that is replica "bone." I drilled a hole perpendicular to the natural line of the bead and fed the sinew through it to mount it...and that passes through a hole on the cover to hold it in place.

Here is a Cross I want to tap into the front panel but I don't have all the tools I need yet.
