Noobie Kiltmaker thanks
As my 1,000th post, I wanted to thank all of you who I have gotten to know and those whose support and opinions I have found to be invaluable.
Bart T. has been a real help in my kiltmaking efforts. Not only her book, 1st and 2nd edition, but also her responses to my unending questions about sewing, kilting, pleating, making a fly, and so much more.
MAC Newsome for his expert historical knowledge.
James Macmillan (aka Jay Bell) for his accepting my proposal to make him a kilt by supplying the material. His faith in me has been supporting and kept me motivated to learn and do better. My first client, my first repeat client, and soon to own four of my hand sewn kilts.
Moosedog (Mary Robertson) for her accepting my proposal to make a kilt. Who had enough faith in me to send me some worsted wool tartan fabric. I got to tell you, I am not sure I would have sent the material... She also is a repeat client and now has three of my hand sewn kilts.
To the new Kansas City group from the midwest.
And all of you who have participated, given advice, supported, and just been good to talk with.
Thanks to all,
Wallace

A day without killting is like a day without sunshine.
