Well,

it was bound to happen, so it did.

This morning I was tasked by my wife to do the weekend errands, including a run to the bank, then the movie rental store, some groceries and then I decided to go to Kohl's to get myself a safary shirt.

Lots of looks and eye contact all morning but no comments until I arrived at Kohl's.

Once there I started walking the aisles and there was this pair of women and as soon as I entered the aisle where they were, they kept on staring, if not obviously...blatantly.

So when I got right next to them, and as the staring continued, I asked one of them if I could help them with something. That put an immediate stop to the staring, so I continued browsing and thenmoved on to the shirts section.

I picked up the shirt I wanted and went to the fitting room where this woman stopped me and asked me 'the question', rather straightforwardly compared to what I've read here before.

'So, are you wearing any underwear under your kilt?'

I stopped, turned around and while keeping intense eye contact I told her that I wasnt supposed to answer her, but rather she was supposed to check herself.

She looked down at the sporran for a second (I thought she would actually do it), then back to eye contact, then smiled and fared me a 'nice try' as she kept walking.

I have to go clothes shopping kilted more often...
