Montrose Doublet
So my wife likes me dressed up a bit and it seems that she has a special liking for the Montrose Doublet. I'm built short, squat and "V" from the waist up and she says I'll look better in a Montrose than the P.C. (old and tired) that I currently own. So it's either buy an new PC or go with a Montrose.
Here's the thing: The Montroses (or is that Montri?) that I've seen up close are nice--but look like I'd sweat buckets in them. Ok for chilly weather, but not for anything warmer than late fall I'd think.
Does anyone know IF a lighter weight Montrose even exists? Do you think it would be difficult to make in a lighter weight version? Pattern help? HELP???!
