ID this tartan
My wife got a piece of tartan and I cannot ID it. It has red and white lines in it , parallel to each other in squares and in the square are colours of green, black and brown....very good looking tartan. There used to be a site where all tartans were shown and you could go through each frame. All I could find on sites lately are clicking on alpha letters, which I don't want to do if I can't ID the tartan in the first place. (Sort of like the old adage, how can I look up a word in dictionary if I don't know how to spell it!!) Thanks for any help. Malcolm (I'd send in a photo, but I'm non-tech and my kids aren't home to do it for me!!.....remember, I'm the 18th century reenactor and I"m better with sword and dirk than digital stuff!!)
