Kilted Poetry Reading
I was invited to read poetry at a small Scottish festival at a church in my town. I paired my favorite kilt with my green tweed Argyll jacket, my Holstein calfskin semi-dress sporran, bottle green hose and ghillie brogues.
The first pic is meself, perched on a stool and reading "A Man's a Man for a' That." The second is with an old college friend whose mother emigrated from Scotland as a war bride after WWII. By wonderful coincidence, her cousin in Scotland married a man with my surname.
