When I first wrote about the X-Kilt, I made a note that if anybody ever decided to produce themas a business, they were more than welcome to do so. I'd like to re-iterate that, now. The X-Kilt instructions are a gift to one and all. Do not slightly re-write them, illustrate the instructions and sell the resulting manual as your own, OK? But if anyone wishes to make photographs of their own X-Kilt,finished,or the "progress photos" and msg me about them, then I'll look them over and see if I can't incorporate them into the text. Just please disassociate your ego from those pictures, so if they don't get used, you understand that it's not a personal message from me that I HATE you

I'm currently looking over (or will, soon) instructions from sydnie7 on how to adapt the X-Kilt to reverse kinguisse construction. In fact, if I get more pictures...along with Tartan Hikers instructions and sydnie7's instructions, this will have turned into a 50 page book on making a particular type of kilt, with variations. And it's free to all. That was the POINT.... 1.) helping others to make their own contemporary kilt so that those with little money could wear one, 2.) help give others the sense of pride in wearing something they'd made themselves, and 3.) so that anyone who makes an X-Kilt will understand why professionally-made kilts cost what they do.

And finally,again...If anyone wishes to produce X-Kilts as part of their business, be my guest. I sure won't be raising a fuss about it.
