Just be glad you weren't dumb enough to say, "all it takes is a little common sense". I speak from experience. The dumbest thing I ever caught my wife doing involved our well. When I arrived back home with the replacement pump, I found her sitting beside the well, with a hose in the water 20+ feet below the surface trying to siphon water out of the well. I got in trouble for that one two by making a comment that I can't post here.
