Hello Fellow Wackos, you might have heard some rumors of our pending Burns Night event in Seattle. It is almost a reality

When - Jan 24th 2009
Join us for a relaxed informal celebration of Robert Burns on the 250th anniversary of his birthday. Robert Burns (25 January 1759 – 21 July 1796) also known as:
· Rabbie Burns
· Scotland's favorite son
· The Ploughman Poet
· The Bard of Ayrshire
· The Bard

On Saturday, January 24th, 2009 we will be celebrating the Bard's 250th Birthday with our first Burns' Supper (and whisky tasting). The price is estimated to be a mere $20 to $30 per person and be a Pot Luck style dinner. Your admission price includes the cost of the hall and the haggis.
Now the reason we are still able to have our Burns Night so inexpensively is that all attendees share in bringing a covered dish, bottle of whisky or wine for sharing (save for the haggis which is provided)

Dress is Formal or Dressy (Just try to look your best, but know that we would rather have you there than worry about if you have a formal outfit or not) Because we will be limiting attendees, all money/checks must be sent/given to committee before the dinner (no money will be collected at the door! )

Reservations will be done by paying before January 12, 2009.
