Aye, I've noticed the same thing, except with me it started kind as a big bang thing. I got a Clarke/Clerical to do a wedding, then I discovered X-marks , and well the rabbit hole got deeper and deeper.
I now own:
five sporrans: a rabbit fur dress, a SWK night Stalker, a basic brown leather sporran, a basic black leather sporran, and a custom leather in a walnut with Celtic knots.
A dress Prince Charlie for my wedding business. A Harris tweed argyle for me.
Two very nice kilt pins, a golden panther and a silver claymore, a cheaper saltier which I probably will only wear for kick around stuff later this summer.
Six pair of kilt hose; Green, Gray, Cabled diamond Gray, Black thigh high woollies, Blue, and the first mandatory cream cable diamond that every one gets.
Four kilts: the above mentioned Cleric, a SWK Gordon, SWK Saffron, and my newest a Royal Stewart PV. I am thinking about a 16 oz Lare in a Lindsay or a Birse (family clans), and possibly later on a X kilt for summer.
Oh, I donned my first kilt in October of this year. What can you do?
