I went to lunch with my wife this afternoon. I got a nice, big cup of steaming hot coffee, which I managed to dump all over my lap almost immediately. I was wearing my new wool SWK saffron. The thing really impressed me, I have to say. I did this once while wearing jeans and got burns on my legs. Bad burns. Through my saffron, I got nothing. The top apron soaked up the coffee. My legs didn't even get wet until the heat had dispersed. Only problem is, now I have to get the thing dry cleaned. Ah well, better than the burns. I learned yet another advantage to the wool kilt this evening.
