New Jacket
Hello All,
I have just acquired a new jacket, or that is to say new to me.

The label inside reads "Jacket Man's No.1 Dress Scottish Pattern Soldiers" and an Issue Date of 1997. The green colour in the picture is quite accurate. I have seen this type of jacket before, but they have always been black - like this:

A Guard outside Edinburgh Castle.
This brings me to the questions.
Firstly, does anyone know which regiment(s) wore or still wear jackets in this colour?
Secondly, it has an upright type of collar. Would it be worth modifying the collar so I could wear a jabot and cuffs?
Thirdly, which should really have been secondly, would wearing a jabot and cuffs with type of jacket be acceptable?
Regards
Chas
