Why do YOU wear a kilt?

Every three or so months I wear the kilt when out and about, and try to get some pictures to check if I am doing it correctly. It's not at all an every day thing for me; though I enjoy wearing a kilt. It took me about a year to put together a good outfit, and learn all the things not to wear. There were several problems, and I'm still not completely sure.

Guess a friend had suggested that I try wearing a kilt, so I started down that path. It's not really a good reason to start wearing kilts.

There have ben several times when I considered not continueing to wear the kilt, so I have thought about it a lot lately... I guess being a part of XMTS draws me back in. I do still plan to have a traditional kilt made in the tartan that is important to me. Perhaps wearing my tartan will change things a little.
