Lowering Prices on Kilts
Hi Folks! What with the usual ramblings about the cost of kilts, etc., I thought you might like to know that due to a much better exchange rate than we've had in the recent past, the Scottish Tartans Museum has been able to lower the prices on the kilts we sell in the gift shop for 2009.
The price drops have been on the majority of our standard 8 yard gentleman's kilts, as well as our casual kilts. We've also been able to lower the cost on our made-to-measurechildren's kilts. Just follow any of the above links to go to those pricing pages.
To give just an example of the prices I'm talking about, the cost of our medium weight 8 yard kilt has gone from $527 to $479. The cost of a medium weight casual kilt has gone from $340 to $290. You'll find similar decreases in all weights of both styles of kilts, with the exception of regimental weight and custom woven tartans.
As always, we only require a 50% deposit on all kilt orders.
These new prices go into effect immediately. So for those of you saving your pennies for a new kilt, rejoice in that you now have to save a little less! :-)
