Brown family tartan-Something new
Hey guys-
I should have probably posted this as a tag on the other thread, but I am in the works with the temporary Baronette of Clan Brown(Broun) to register a sub-sett tartan of Clan Brown called (Browns of the South East). I wanted it to be a "Hunting" sett, but was informed thats already in the works, so I decided that since Brown& Broun are probably the most common names in the SE part of the USA (Me being one of them) that I'd craft something that ALL Browns could wear in celebration of our numbers here in the SE........It might be prudent to note that probably 95% of these Browns have no link to the Scottish Browns...But no matter-I told my idea to MAtt, he designed it, I've submitted it, I'm awaiting word for permission-then BAM! Game on-Here is a picture...I personally think its prettier than the Clan Brown original sett. Oh yeah-My jones is at full tilt-My Matt-Box-Pleat is in the makings right now!!!!
