Since forming in the early 1990's, the Old Blind Dogs have stood on the cutting edge of Scotland 's roots revival. The band has developed its own trademark style with energetic mix of songs and tunes. Dynamic percussion, polished vocals, soaring fiddle and stirring pipes fuel the delicately-phrased melodies and traditional songs. The Dogs now sixteen years old have release over ten albums and have toured extensively around the globe. 'A Scots neo-traditional super group, with a bracingly modern musical attack.' Peter Daldry, comes from the small industrial town of Clydebank , eight miles west of Glasgow Scotland . A town situated on the banks of the River Clyde,famous for its shipbuilding, birth of the Queen Mary and the Queen Elizabeths. With a voice brimming over with passion and power Peter sings older traditional songs along with new self-penned songs culled from the history of his hometown of Clydebank , Scotland . His latest cd is "Familiar Roads. " Peter plays Guitar, Mandolin and Bouzouki. He will be joined by Christopher Scott Cooper -Guitars and Tony Bishop-whistles
