It's a form of the Scottish Royal Coat of Arms.
Technically it is no longer in effect as Scotland is no longer a Kingdom in itself and has not been since 1603.
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.
