In the USAF, they get base pay, housing allowance (unless you live on post), a sustinance allowance which is about $300-400 a month for a family of three, seperation pay, hazard pay, and a list of other allowances you may or may not be eligable for and I can't begin to remember what they all are. And you are all assuming that I wouldn't be working? Bah. Pfft. This is the longest I have been without a job in about 10 years and it's been this long only because this is how long it took for my daughter to get settled in and comfortable with her new home. I'll be starting my new job as a restaraunt manager within the next week. Anyways, back on track. With the base pay and allowances and the income that I bring in, wherever I may be working when he gets a "permanant" station, I think we'll be pretty okay.
