Last Sunday night my friend's band was playing at a local (sort of ...) pub and a woman approached my table and asked if I "was that guy that wore a kilt to the Black Watch last year". I answered that it was indeed me and I would be there agin this year to celebrate UK/Scottish/Irish (pick one) New Years which occurs at 4pm PST. The funny thing was I wasn't kilted at the time she asked me but apparently my face reminded her of the kilt.

Yesterday I dropped off my Maple Leaf PV at Sportkilt, 1 day before they close up for the Christmas and New Years weekends (back on the 4th).
Seamus tossed me a Black Watch touque and then handed me three mini kilts to dispense to any girls I saw that might be on Santa's "Good" list ...
So far one has gone to a young fiddle player down south, another has gone to a fan of our Sunday sessiun band, the last will be given away before the weekend is over.
