Piper's Cross Belt pattern
Hey Guys-
i'm feeling OK posting this here, since this is not something that we sell in my store. I have recently completed a piper's crossbelt order for a local FD band here in NorCal. I was EXTREMELY fortunate to have the use of a 1930's Crossbelt from a local here who has a full Liverpool scottish uniform on a mannequin for display in his home (VERY COOL). The belt was beginning to fall apart, so I offered to repair it if he'd give me permission to use it as a template. I don't know how many of you out there would be interested, but if you'd like to have this pattern, I'll send you the template- Only thing you pay for is cost of the poster board and shipping (Posterboard is 2.19$, and shipping would be around 2.50 -So lets just say 5$). The belt is in 3 pieces and would require hand stitching, but the results are fantastic! The width of the belt is a standard 3.75 inch which fits 99% of all buckles out there (I tried a cheap Pakistani, the original , and the custom buckles I had made and they all fit the same). PM if you are interested in this-Josh
