Well, one of the (multiple) knitting books I got her for Christmas was one called Knitting for Guys that was full of nice sweater patterns (this one included). So that helped. :-) Of course, she's an avid knitter to begin with, always looking for more projects to take on, so she really did not need too much coaxing. It's how she stays sane sharing the house with me and all the kids.
