When I saw the thread about the proper way to wear the sgian dubh, it got me thinking about the different appearances of flashes in many of the photos on XMTS.

I've noticed that in many pictures, the flashes are closer to the back of the leg and in many others they are closer to the front of the leg. This makes it seem like the top of the hose are "twisted", or not straight.

I always try to center the flashes on the side of my leg. Is this correct? Are the pictures that show them too far front or back just illusions? Or maybe I'm thinking too much about this?
