Have you tried Bugpiper on e-bay ? He's Steve McVeigh from Caledon, Northern Ireland and he’s an ex-Gordons piper. I have traded with him in the past and is very good and straight – no bad surprises from him. He has a business for bagpipes, piper’s dress and ex-British army Scottish regimental uniforms and kilts etc. Through him I got a complete head-to-toe Argylls No 1 dress uniform, with Glengarry, piper green doublet, No 1a kilt, dress belt and buckle, “Swinging Six” sporran and white strap, red/white Menzies hose-tops, spats, brogues, flashes and white gloves. The regimental kilt still had its base-stitching in place.
I also bought the hats of all the Scottish regiments with modern badges, blackcock tails, hackles etc as appropriate, including Scots Guards and RSDG peaked caps. I also got from him the old metal badges of all the old Scottish regiments pre-various mergers.
If you try him on e-bay, then you can mention me, Lachlan Gow.
If you want his e-mail, I can give it to you in a PM.
