Box pleat calculator
While I was making my "30 yarder kilt" last summer, I was really short on tartan. So I needed some help on finding best possible solution to use what I had. The result was EXCEL spreadsheet (actually 2; one in metric and second in imperial units). Based on set dimensions, you can get a hint which pleating is optimal (from material use point of view, not aesthetic) and you can find out how much tartan you need.

It could be useful for someone, so be my guest.
