I have one of those 1953 MOD "Culloden" sporran cantles. It's in the photo I posted. But I've not been able to find anybody to make a sporran for it.
The trouble is the attachments, which are little knobs on the inside. Originally there were C-shaped things that clamped over these knobs to hold the leather sporran body in place.
I see what your maker has done was to drill some holes near the rim so that the leather sporran body could be held in place by leather lacing.
