anybody got a kilt in Thistle Dubh tartan?
I attended our largest local Highland Games yesterday, Costa Mesa, and at one booth- it must have been Geoffrey Tailor, I saw a large sample of a quite lovely tartan called Thistle Dubh.
It's one they weave themselves, in their showroom factory up near the Castle in Edinburgh.
The fabric weight is 16/17 ounce, the guy said. It's in their "Auld Reeky" range.
The swatch had lovely colours. They also had a grey-on-grey version, and the guy said they had a purple version too but he didn't have a swatch of it.
Do any members have a photo of a kilt in this tartan they could post? Thanks!
