I am doing a gilbert and sullivan show in september and the producer had organized a saturday/sunday wild west fesitval at his apple farm. To promote the show the cast came and sing pieces from the show. (Productions of G and S was very popular in the victorian era west)
While there are no specifically scottish characters in G and S (what a shame)the pirate king in the original production did wear a white skirt so amid all the holsters, chaps and spirs I sat (and sang) in my kilt.
Later this year I have a production of magic flute and the producer wants me to wear my kilt as part of my costume. Can life get beter than to be paid to wear your kilt.
