Here are some pics from the visit MacMillan's Son and I made to the Upper Antelope Slot Canyon out on the Navajo Reservation near Page, AZ. The canyon is deep and narrow - usually only a few feet wide. Light does weird things. I just spun my camera dials around hoping for a few good shots. The lightest part is top of the canyon.
We had heavy monsoon rains and flash flooding a couple weeks ago. The Navajos said they'd hoped the floods would wash out the canyon but instead they added about two feet of sand to the bottom. I liked it, gave the place a bit of a different look.
