Stone Mountain Highland Games 2010

I know I saw lots of cameras at the Stone Mountain Games this year, so let's upload some pics!

The weather was great, cool mornings and warm afternoons, but never too cold or too hot. The rain stayed away this year. Things got a little dusty (we had to unpack all of our goods with a swiffer wipe in hand today in the gift shop), but no real complaints.

Thanks to everyone who came by to support the museum by shopping at our tent. We had a great weekend, as we usually do, and the extra income from this event really helps up through the winter. And, as always, we were busy answering tartan questions, meeting new friends, and getting reacquainted with old ones.

We had some new folks helping out in the tent this year. Tory is a new volunteer, and Madeline is the newest member of the Newsome clan, just 5 months old. Both did great at their first Stone Mountain Games!


A certain bonnet maker who also volunteers with the museum insisted on getting wee Maddie into a hand knit bonnet...
