You can make wine from it, too. My grandfather and his brother, from what I understand, used to make some that was pretty potent. My dad talks about a time when he gave a glass to my mother. It was her first experience with home made wine, and it nearly knocked her out for the night. Wish I coulda been there to see that. Maybe I woulda got some before he got called home.
Anyway, I got a buddy at work that used to go to the Highland games in Alma and Livonia, MI with his dad. Sadly, his old man got called home last year, but after telling him about my new interest in kilts, he asked if I wanted to go to the one in Livonia. Of course I said yeah, and now I know how to ID the others from this forum.
