A few weeks ago we flew from Wisconsin to Arizona, going through a few airports. After driving 2 hours there, and then flying, I was happy to be wearing my black Survival Utilikilt. One, since we went from a cold climate still with snow to one of 80 degrees F, the kilt was always kept me just warm or cool enough.

I was a bit worried about going through security, but there were no body scanners and only the first time did I set off the alarm. I forgot to take my belt off with a big buckle. Number two was putting everything into my kilt pockets, unsnapping them and just sending them through the X-Ray. Then just grab the pockets, snap them back on and everything was right there, including space for my cell phone, ear buds, a reading book, wallet, change holder, breath spray, pen and little note book and a few other items. also, while on the plane, all these items were right there with me and I just had to remember what pocket or part of the pocket they were in. I got a few questions out in AZ, but most people didn't say anything. Although my wife said there sure were a lot of "the LOOK" from people I passed.
