I have seen that thread. The problems stem from the don'ts. If folks just focus on the do's things go much smoother. On the other hand if everyone is overly nice newbies, like me, don't get both sides of an issue.

For a newbie reading some of the old contentious threads can be quite educational and everyone else doesn’t have to relive them.
