I bought a handful of their editions like the Jack London, Classics of Horror, Grimm Fairy Tales, and H.G. Wells versions, way back pre kindle. I would jump on this Lovecraft edition if I didn't have the 4 volume Arkham Press collection AND the Library of America selcted collection, as well as all his stuff on the kindle. The B&N books are nice, but I agree they don't quite have the level of lushness as say, my 50th anniversary edition of LOTR, which is what I'd want for yet another edition of Lovecraft (there is a book called "Necronomicon" which is more along the lines of what I'm talking about, not sure if it is a comprehensive colection though).
But for $20, not a bad deal! Don't care for the color cover though, the older B&N editions I have are more subdued. Though now that I think on it, maybe those are Borders books, not B&N ones. The customer complaint about typos worries me as well, smells of a lack of human proofreading.
