Out in the Upper Antelope Slot Canyon today...kilt is USA Kilts Caledonia tartan in Semi-Trad. A perfect choice for a hot day.

Dim, but gives a bit of a hint of the majesty of the slot canyon - for the geologists its carved through Navajo Sandstone by Antelope Creek.

Flash floods bring all sorts of debris into the canyon - some, like this log, gets stuck until the next flood.

Difficult to get good pics inside the canyon due to dim light. This shows a typical sandstone wall.

At the end of the canyon those of us with claustrophobia are relieved and likely to climb up a rock and do a little jig.

Man's gotta hitch up his kilt and courage for the trek back through the canyon.

Back at the starting point its time to mount up for a VERY bumpy 3 mile ride down the wash to the parking lot.

A last look....
