Finally got around to digging into my pics from last weekend. The weird light in a slot canyon does crazy things to digital sensors so I just take a LOT of pictures on a LOT of settings and hope for the best....here are a few from Upper Antelope Slot Canyon on the Navajo Reservation.
This is one of the wider spots in the canyon where light gets in and the sand in the air highlights the shaft of light.
This shot was taken looking straight up to the opening at the top of the canyon.
This pick is looking straight up too - at flood debris high above the canyon floor. No way do you wanna be in a slot canyon during a flash flood.
Here's a pic of the beautiful swirls carved in the sandstone by the flash floods and the winds.
This was my best pic from this trip. Its a horizontal shot about head high at one of the major bends in the canyon. The tumbleweed fell in from the top of the canyon.
