A hot humid summer day in Virginia with a three hour drive to my Dad’s house to see my visiting Aunts from Liverpool had me decked out as comfortable as I could be.

A USAK casual kilt in the Caledonia tartan, Saltire t-shirt and sandals was the ticket. No belt needed here and the nylon cargo SWK sporran fit the bill. Fiona approved but wished she could go.




An evening at the Hampton Pub with my sister Denise, Aunts Rene and Elma had me attired in a classier summer outfit. USAK seim-traditonal kilt, polo shirt, cotton kilt hose from Socksdreams. I choose flashes for the hose rather than garters. The hose are thin and flashes were a better choice for it. Sporran and belts from Artificer.
