Your facebook page, in tribute to your late father is simply amazing, and I hope that it was alright for some of us, to include me, to upload some of the superb photos you shared of your father, in effort to share them with others on this forum. I have no celebrity claim!! My Dad Was "my Dad" and he was much more than a great piper...... The dark hose were, from memory, knittedby my very skilful Mam for Dads MBE investiture at Buckingham Palace.....Highland Morning Dress if you will....

Well said Mags. Many of us only "know" your father as a great piper of vast skill, and very little of the man behind the tartan and the drones.

I'm just his daughter, I was very very lucky to have Dad, I'm sure my big brother would say the same - he's responsible for the work on the website, not me! My Mother is a wonderful woman and was very important to the behind the scenes operation at home - my Dad was extraordinary in so many ways and he taught me so much.
