I'm very proud of my son's today

Both my son's tested today for their yellow belt in American Jidokwan, they have worked very hard over the past few months and it has been my honor to see them grow. Here are a couple of pictures of them breaking a board so they can get their belts.

Caleb winding up for a side kick

    Success

Jackie is getting himself ready-not sure but he believed!

Young men should be well rounded, they need to be able to cook, sew, clean, etc...,this is just another step in the process.
Both passed-I'm very proud of their effort and hard work.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Great news, really helps the boys with coordination and self discipline. My oldest just got his black belt so I know how proud you must be.
