A Campbell friend of mine asked for some help buying a first kilt. I suggested Burnett's and Struth, so he looked at the casual kilts page and found two Campbell tartans (C. of Argyle, modern and ancient) but no images of them. We decided to drive up to Barrie and it turns out that neither of those were actually available!

In the end, my friend chose to order a regular Campbell ancient (not C. of Argyle) casual kilt but had to pay full price for it. Luckily, he was mollified by the fact that we found him an ex-rental, midnight blue Crail jacket and waistcoat for a steal at $150. This wasn't listed on the website either, so I guess the trip was worth it

Nonetheless, I was somewhat embarrassed that my recommendation for the casual kilt on sale part of his purchase was a fail My suggestion to Brandon for the webpage is to find a way to keep it up to date with current stock levels of sale tartans.
I am aware of the situation you are referring to. This happened due to old stock levels. We will be resolving this soon with an inventory update this month. It is always recommended with the casual kilts to have an alternative tartan due to the stock being used in store, online and via the phone it is very difficult to keep all the tartan stock levels up to date. Some tartans have lots of cloth in stock though so are unlikely to be not in stock. On the other hand there are small pieces only enough for one kilt and those are the difficult ones to keep updated on.

We are doing our best to keep the casual kilt list up to date. It will have a complete overhaul in the coming month or two with tartan pictures being upload again. Due to construction in the store this process can take a bit of time.

Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding. In the mean time if you are interested in any of the tartans on our list please contact me and will be happy to update you on the stock levels.
