Bought My First Kilt! Jonesing bad.
I bought my first kilt from Sport Kilt due to cost and heard that it's a good company. I bought it for the Michigan Renaissance Festival in September.
I got "The Works" Kilt in MacGregor Tartan. I am so anxious for it to come in the mail with the sporran, hose, and flashes. Got an email today saying it will be 5-10 more days til the kilt is done, then shipping time. What to do until then?

I enjoy my Sportkilt, and I am positive you will enjoy yours as much. Just remember that you don't need a reason to wear it.
Welcome to the board

If I polish shoes to mirror shine for when I get the kilt, and decide to go commando, wouldn't that be indecent exposure if it's a sunny day and people glance at my "mirror shoes?" At least in the Detroit area, it might be ![Laughing](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
Father Bill, I have too much hair to polish my knees, hence the yeti part of my username. ![Laughing](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
And thanks Inchessi for the reassurance that I will like my Sportkilt. I needed it, as I am a newbie to kilt buying, and don't know quality product yet.

Welcome to the world of kilt-dom! Unless you are a rare anomaly, you've just acquired the first of many kilts! There are so many options with regards to the kilt, you'll no doubt be pulling your hair out trying to decide which to purchase next!
For example...my current kilt quiver:
Traditional 13oz MacLean Hunting
Traditional 16oz MacLean modern (awaiting delivery!!)
Sportkilt "Hash kilt"
2 Utilikilt Workman's
Utilikilt Survival
2 Utilikilt mockers
2 NeoKilts (One in PV, One wool)
Kelly green kilt (In production, by yours truly)
The Jones never really goes away... It just points you to the next kilt!!
